Anonymous asked: how much olive oil do you put in your salad?

I just quickly drizzle a tiny bit. It’s probably 1/3 of a Tbsp.

Anonymous asked: What food does make you bloated?

Apples, soy, wheat (especially), legumes, cruciferous vegetables (cabbage, brussels sprouts, broccoli), nightshade vegetables (eggplant, bell pepper, potato, tomato)…I’m definitely forgetting some.

  • Reality Check: There will always be someone thinner than you, no matter how thin you are. Aiming to be the "thinnest" "sickest" "worst" is a pointless goal because you will never achieve it.
  • Reality Check: Eating at night/in the morning/after working out/before working out/at someone's house/in front of people/more than your sister/even if you just ate an hour ago/more than X times per day will NOT make you gain weight. Weight gain is about calories in vs. calories out, not about where/when/what/in from of whom you eat.
  • Reality Check: Fat is not bad. Fat is necessary in order to absorb calcium and many other nutrients. Fat is part of a balanced diet.
  • Reality Check: Sugar is not bad either. Sugar helps balance cravings. If you completely avoid sugar, your cravings will only get stronger. Eat sugar when you crave it to avoid binging on it.
  • Reality Check: What you see in the mirror is probably distorted. Instead of body checking, create affirmations for yourself. I am strong. I am brave. I am compassionate. I am loved.
  • Reality Check: People care about you. I can guarantee someone out there does. Someone loves you and cares about you and it's killing someone out there to see you hate yourself and hurt yourself. Even when you think you're completely and utterly alone, you're not. Because I care and if you ever need someone, I'm here.

Thanks for this and I’m seeing a counsellor at home, but I can’t see anyone here.

Anonymous asked: I'm stuck in this plateau for several months. I read that you said weeks but omg it's just not moving. I've changed my exercise routine for a month now but no change has come yet. :S

Hmmm…come off anon and talk to me about it privately? Maybe it’s diet related or something? I’d like to know your whole routine!

Anonymous asked: Why are you cutting out even more foods? Soon there will be nothing left.:( please be safe dear, your intake is already so low.

There are so many foods that make me horribly bloated and I don’t want to eat them because they make me feel really uncomfortable and they make me look fat and gross and that is not fun or good especially for a model who needs to look here best every second of every day. I just don’t want to risk it. I’m trying my best to get the proper nutrition, but sometimes it’s just so had. I’ve been taking multivitamins, though, so hopefully they’re making up for it a bit. I’m sorry to worry you, though. I just feel like I’m doing what I’ve got to do.

Anonymous asked: I have reached a plateau, and I haven't changed my clean eating diet. I've only changed my workout routine. Will this still help me pass the plateau? I don't want to eat more or any oily fat foods. I just eat healthy and not a lot is this still going to help me move passed it?

Honestly, I’d love to tell you that if you change your workout routine you’ll magically get over the plateau, but I can’t predict anything! It is absolutely worth a shot, though! Sometimes our bodies resist weight loss because they get comfortable at a certain weight and they really want to retain it. Just keep trying. Don’t get discouraged. It could take a few days, it could take a week or it could take a month or more for the weight to start coming off again. It will come off, though!

Anonymous asked: How the time change been for you? We're you able to adapt?

I don’t even notice the time change, to be honest! When I got here (in Milan) it was 5:00 (Milan time), so I had some dinner and then went to sleep (I was dead tired). When I woke up in the morning I was 100% fine. It’s a difference of 6 hours, so I do notice it when I try to communicate with my friends and family who are at home, but I don’t physically notice it. I guess the only effect the time change had on me was that for the first week and a half, I’d wake up automatically at 6:00 AM and then I wouldn’t be able to fall back to sleep, but that’s not happening any more! I will for sure notice the time change when I go back home, though. I’ll experience some major jet lag.
